EVIL IS GROWING

The most important things should be said plainly. Dragging it out and dressing it up will only waste time. I’ve been trying to get to the point lately, and this new song “Even in the Light” is a testament to that. Written to friends and family after the 2020 election, “Even in the Light” is a rallying cry and a reminder to everyone who thinks we can still create a world we want to live in—not a world driven by cruel and selfish billionaires.

We can support each other and accept each other, we can rise above the divisive strategies and fearful rhetoric, but only when we acknowledge evil when we see it and actively fight against it. It may be in the news, in the past, or in the words of a loved one, but in this new normal there is no room for the complacency of the new millennium so far. We can get through this together or not at all. Evil will grow even when we burn it down. Keep your fire burning.
